Lawman: Johnny is at Fort Laramie to witness the execution of Jed Barrister. Before being hanged, Jed yells out to those that are gathered that one of them is his accomplice, and wants that remaining person to kill Dan Troop. Johnny rides back to town and tells Dan. He is surprised when Dan does not seem to be too worried about it. Johnny is persistent, and decides to go on a quest to find the unknown killer, before the unknown killer finds Dan.
