The Sweeney: Jimmy Fleet and a friend con two businessmen into handing over some valuable diamonds. They are caught, but only after Jimmy manages to hide the diamonds. Patsy Kearney, a criminal who specialises in thieving from thieves, becomes interested, as do the Sweeney. Carter gets to do some time in prison in an attempt to gain Jimmy's confidence. Jenny, a barmaid, is especially attracted to policemen, particularly when they are in uniform!
