Chaz, a vintage Showboy Magazine collector, decides to go to Hollywood after discovering his evil landlord's plot to find and kill Bert, the founder and creator of the acclaimed adult periodical; but when his blundering friends tag along, chaos ensues and Chaz must learn that there's more to life than his paperback love flames before shattering any hopes of ever having a real one of his own.
